Well friends, it’s finally here…My last week of undergrad! I have so many emotions going through me this week – excitement, nerves, wonder, a tinge of anxiety… Stepping into the professional world is such an emotional process! Because I’m feeling especially nostalgic, this week we’re going old school y’all, celebrating school-themed weddings for all of you high school sweethearts out there (or university loves – Go Dukes!). Inspiration Board #43: Spring Fling

As hints of Spring Fever air are in the air, I have felt very inspired this week by my morning runs in the park this week. Everything is green, blooming, and alive, and just oh-so-beautiful! It’s easy to get distracted with all of this life outside calling me to play, which is not very productive coming into finals week. I have one word for y’all today…COLOR! I love the happy vibes that a little splash of color can bring into a room. This is one of those themes that can be taken in a million and one different directions and look beautiful every single time. Even though I was born in the North, I am definitely a Southern girl at heart. Today’s inspiration comes from my love for all things FUN. Hello lovelies! I have been missing you all oh s0 much! Where have I been you say? My life was taken over by a whirlwind of wild undergrad weeks as I finished up my senior year of college!! I can’t believe it’s done, but I am so excited to start my next life adventure…And even more excited to be able to have time to share wedding beauties with my lovely readers! I have a boat load of inspiration to share with y’all that I’ve been collecting over the weeks so let’s not waste any time and get right into it, shall we?

My first ‘Homecoming’ inspiration board certainly makes a statement and is perfect for the bride who is attracted to the strikingly bold and beautiful in life. No one ever said you have to walk down the aisle quietly, and if you’re looking to have a wedding that no one forgets, this is definitely one way to do it! Looking to plan a little something special for your favorite cuddle buddy? I recommend a romantic intimate breakfast, inspired by today’s sweet board…and on cold wintery days of February, it’s just another great excuse to snuggle a little closer and warm your toes!
A pancake breakfast would also be a great option for an engagement brunch or housewarming party…Who doesn’t like to celebrate happy occasions with an assortment of yummy donuts?! Happy national love week!! I don’t know about all of y’all but I am a huge fan of Valentine’s Day because of all of the love in the air! I know, I’m a sap. But love-stalking has been the only thing that has gotten me through this rough school week. Hellooo midterms! I hope that all of you got to share your V-day with a special Valentine whether it was spent at a romantic dinner with a significant other, baking with a best friend, or sharing kisses with your favorite four-legged friend. Inspiration Board #36: Winter by the Sea

It’s that time of the week again friends – Monday. Is it just me, or does the weekend always seem to fly by with super sonic speed?? I guess they’re right when they say time flies when you’re having fun! Well, Happy Monday everyone!! Let’s kick this week off right with the inspiration of one of my favorite things…saltwater. Doesn’t just thinking of the beach raise your spirits out of their winter slump and send them dreaming of long days of sweet freedom? There is no other place in existence that makes me feel as calm and at peace with the world as standing at the meeting place of sandy beach and sea water, getting lost in the dancing reflections of the ocean floor. Sounds pretty fabulous right about now…Well since I can’t escape to my ocean paradise right now, I propose we take this week to enjoy the beauty and mystery of the winter sea, starting with today’s inspiration board…

Happy Monday friends! The blanket of winter has officially set in upon us. There is an undeniable chill in the air, a crisp sky up above, and a fresh bite of clarity to the world.

This week, the combination of the organic whimsy of cotton and the vintage simplicity of leather is taking me away to an elegant wintry wonderland – sounds luxuriously serene! This celebration would be perfect for a modern country soiree in the South , where cotton fields grow aplenty and raw luxuries are appreciated for their timeless beauty.
