D.I.Y. Sparkle Fever

31 Dec

Does anyone else get sparkle fever at this time of year? Every time I walk through the malls my feet are like magnets to anything that has sparkle, glimmer, and shine. I am a HUGE advocate of sparkly pretties to complement any party and am so excited to share this DIY project with y’all to get you in the sparkle spirit too!

Creating these wallet-friendly candles, found on Martha Stewart Weddings, are a perfect way to craft in the new year!

What you need:

{1} candles (Martha’s were $8 per dozen at jamaligarden.com)
{2} superfine/fine metallic glitter in assorted colors
{3} a large box
{4} spray adhesive

{1} in a well-ventilated area, place candles in a large box
{2}  coat candles with spray adhesive
{3} spoon glitter over candles to coat fully
{4} let dry overnight

Have fun crafting friends!!
