Inspiration Board #15: Beachy Keen

1 Aug

Aloha readers! Seeing as how I am flying out of Hawaii today officially on my way back home to the East Coast, I thought a beach-inspired board would be the only way to go this week. I personally LOVE the beach, love the ocean, and just the calming feeling of inner peace when I’m within earshot of the waves rhythmically crashing into the shore. My vision of a beach wedding would be to keep the color palette in natural neutrals, featuring whites, off-whites, taupes, sandy golds, and warm, deep browns with small pops of color as accents. The picture of the dock below says it all. In my opinion, the most successful beach weddings are those that keep things rustic, simple, actively integrating the natural wonders of the inviting shore and beyond into the mysterious ocean waters as subtle elements that together make one huge statement.
Hope you have a motivated and inspired rest of your week!
